Because of You

Your eyes.

Your adorable, honest eyes

met mine.

On Water street,

beneath the foggy, dark sky,

blurry, dim moon,

your soft, pink lips

gently brushes

mine.

Your shield

protects me

from atrocious monsters.

I was a tiny seed.

With your sun,

I’m now a strong tree.

Because of you,

my sky is never black.

Because of you,

I never drop a tear.

Your knife

stabs my heart

deeply,

painfully,

angrily.

You dumped me

like rotten fruit,

crushed me

like an ant.

My heart cries

in agony.

My hand shakes

when I press

“Delete”.

Even if

the world stops

I’ll fight a breath

to whisper

your name.
