Because You

Dear You,

Because you really have no clue.

How is it that you live so far,

But I see you everywhere?

You’ve never left a physical scar,

But you can leave me in despair.

I know you say everything is good,

But I never have a shoulder to cry on.

You say you’d be here if you could,

But sometimes I feel forgotten.

Everyone always asks about you,

Because you’re all they see looking at me.

Maybe there is something I failed to do,

Because you’re always happy and glee.

I never tell you when I feel down,

Because I know it hurts you not being here.

Some thoughts of you made me frown,

Because you have flooded my heart with fear.

I would never want to restart,

Because you’ve forever changed my heart.
