Because You Didn´t Love me
You didn't love me...
You loved the idea of controlling and abusing me,
spiritually, mentally and physically
You thought I was head over heels for you,
but you really never knew.
Your lies just wrapped me up like a lullaby,
You let me close my eyes and fall into your deep pond of shallow lies
Lies that sounded a little like this,
¨You´re the only one I can see myself with,
Just give me one more chance, because I love you
I´ll do whatever I have to.¨
I wasn't dumb enough to feed into these lies,
I was just hypnotized, every time I looked into your eyes...
Your. Beautiful. Eyes.
But then I realized, you manipulated me,
Made me feel like you and I could possibly be.
In reality I gave you all of me, yet only received half of you
Could you have proven to be that this ¨relationship¨ was true?
You didn't love me,
But before this once called ¨Love Letter¨ gets out of hand
I want to clear something up...
We.Were.Just.Friends.
I can do me and you can do you and if you asked me about my life I´d probably never tell you
One reason is because you´ve got me running, not in circles,
But in zigzags because I'm dodging the bullets that you're shooting right at me.
I´m pretending that I´m not shot, but I´m bleeding and everyone sees it
Because you didn't love me...
Thanks a lot for the pain you've caused
I´m falling into agony can you catch me?
Just because I let you go,it doesn't mean I wanted to
It doesn't matter how this poem began,
You probably see now...my regret and pain all
Because.I. Loved.You.
