Because You Love Me

We dance in the rain and I do not care that it tangles my curls.

We laugh at ourselves and I do not care that my belly starts to ache.

We sing out the car window and I do not care that we're so off-key my brain hurts.

We hug when we say goodbye and I do not care it takes us so long to let go.

You see, I know you'd never hurt me in any way,

And I know I'd never think about hurting you.

I know this because I love you.

I know this because you love me.
