Because You Love Me

Flowers on a random day because you love me.

Lending me your car to go to work because you love me.

Making sure I have lunch because you love me.

Soup when I’m sick because you love me.

Dismantling every notion of society’s idea of manliness because you love me.

Missing work to be there for my very first surgery because you love me.

Proud and supportive of everything I do (even when it makes no sense) because you love me.

Seldom times do those words come out of your mouth, yet they are nothing but words.

For actions always speak louder and and I hear them crystal clear.

I see ‘I love you’ in everything you do.
