Because You Love Me?
Because you love me you say,
You've left me all up in a fray,
With all the games and tricks you play,
You put me down, knocked me over,
you were my lucky clover,
You used to love me and teach me lessons,
But now anytime you cross my mind I just remember painful sessions,
I used to cry and weep,
Now I can just appreciate all I keep,
I've been able to grow so much without you,
Because you love me,
You did all of this to me,
What kind of love is that,
Whatever it is you can take it back.
