Because You Love Me...
Because you love me,
you never wanted to lose me.
Because I cared so much about your well being,
I forgot to care or think about my own.
They say that love blinds you from seeing,
because you’ve put your love on a throne.
But that love isn’t real, and your feelings aren’t true,
you only do what he has taught you to do.
Because you loved me,
you tried to control me.
You always told me what I should and shouldn’t wear,
And certain ways that you liked my hair.
When I stepped out of line,
you made me cry...
because you said you loved me.
Because you love me,
you tore out my heart.
You deserted me for some one shiny and new,
I should have known, should have seen from the start,
That I was better off lonley, we were better apart.
-Lowe
