Because you love me......

Because you love me…..

Because you love me, I am not afraid to love you.

Because you love me, I know what love is.

Love is patience and kind. Love sometimes hurt, but if it is really love it will be all mine.

Have you ever heard the term, « If you love something let it go,

if it comes back then it was truly yours. »

Because you love me, I am not afraid to let you go.

Loving you means wanting what is best for you even if it isn’t me.

Because you love, I am not jealous.

I want you to have friends of the opposite sex.

Because you love me, I know you will find others attractive, but I will be ok with that.

I know others are attractive to you, but I am content in the fact that you chose me and I chose you.

Because you love me, when you raise your hand I am not afraid.

When your hand goes up, I know it is just to stroke my hair with the same tenderness you have to your first born niece.

Because you love me, I know she represents an innocence in this world that you think is gone.

Because you love me, I know the truths that you hid behind confronting lies.

Because you love me, I do not judge you and you do not judge me.

Because you love me, I am not afraid to grow and change.

You nurture me change and want to see me grow into the person that I was made to be.

Because you love me, I bring you to my family gatherings.

Because you love me, my family sees the love and perhaps love you more than they love me.

Because you love me, I love you.
