Because of you my child...
Because of you my child
Running rampant and running wild
this conception of perfection
Needs just a bit of correction
See mother's delight in the cheery smiles
And wild styles children bring to play
But as the days blow by
dumpy diapers and rosy nosies
Just don't seem the same.
I see you my child
I see my children
Frozen I stand
This is who I am
I'm Mom
My life has been filled
With broken bones
Moans and groans
Sleepless weeks
Stomach aches and puffy cheeks
Screams upon screams
Bedtime stories and monster worries
Soft kisses,
Irreplaceable...
Never boring mornings
Mom this Mom that
I want my game boy back
Finders keepers
Christmas peepers
Poison ivy
Chicken pox
Those were the days
I kid you not
Where did the time go
I watch you grow
Mom, Mother..
Hey you
Why can't I go out
I'm old enough...
Driver's license
Independence
Oops suspended
Senior year
Biggest fear
Girlfriend
Heartbreak
Mom
You there
Tears
Silence...
I'm always here
I 'm Mom
College starts
Big dreams big hearts
Where are the dumpy diapers
Where are the rosy nosies
I love you mom
Because of my children
Because of you my child...
