Because Your Love Was Bittersweet

Was it love when i felt his hands around my neck more than around my waist?
When his touch bruised but in those anamalistic markings I felt passion?
Colors defamatory
The rainbow was bright but it wasn't beautiful.
My eyes couldnt handle the light I saw
His love was
Red
Bleeding into these pages
Out of me
He showed me his love daily

By the hour

By the minute

Until the minute

I left
