Losing you is my fear but because I love you I stayed, I know you well enough to know where your anger came from. I’m sorry your uncle messed with you, and your mom knew. Your dad really did love you even your mom knew.

As a friend I couldn’t help so I got close and helped you because you deserved better. I took you in when you left for home, I fed you and clothed you. I comforted you when you felt alone.

Even after seven years I thought the abuse was gone because you found a new path in life. You beat me and broke up with me and left me to survive on my own.
