In first grade, I played with glue and made dirt pies

I was mean to you because I really liked you

You swore you could see beyond my "lies"

In sixth grade, I was a nerd for Halloween

You told me I should've been what you see me as... a queen. 

And from that moment I knew, we would go together like socks and shoes

Since that Halloween night, our connection is more than just tight

That's clear for the world to see

Everyone tells me I don't know what love is 

His love touches my soul

That lets me know, he's way more than a hand to hold

Because you love me you've always stood by my side

You never left due to mistakes that took place
