#becauseIloveyou
You're words pierced me like a daggered edge
Saying you love me day in and out
But your words mean less and less
Because I feel imprisoned just a little more everyday
This is not how it should be, not for you not for me.
I remember the days of opening up and you listening to what I had to say
Can't you recall those day and nights were we could see the happiness
But because I love you I stayed by your side
Lets change the narrative
Flip it around
I know that we can
Because I love you lets not fight all night
Because I love you we can change our ways, opening our arms for love
A healthy relationships not about building our walls to protect us
But letting those we care about into our buildings of safety
Because I love you I want to be the best us we can be.
