You're the best thing that ever happened to me,

and although I may not show it,

Im writing this love note, despite the fact

i'm not a poet.

The first time we kissed,

held hands, and even hugged,

replays in my mind as if my favorite song.

You bring peace to my mind

in times of war,

taught me things that made me want to love myself rather more.

I've learned to love you, and become a better person,

Not only for me, but for the sake of those still learning,

to love themselves through peace,

and not go through horrid.
