#BecauseILoveYou

#BecauseILoveYou

Because I love you,

I promise to never stop trying.

I see a radiance far beyond just your body.

Other birds want you 4 your physical,

I been chirping at you looking beyond the visual.

Flaunting my rainbow feathers in this gloomy weather

4 a possible chance at a Sunday dance with you.

Because I love you,

You got to promise to never stop believing in your self

I’ve seen many fall victim to money and fans screaming.

Attention seekers will have you up late fighting demons.

Asking yourself are you chasing acceptance or the antecedent.

Other people love to see you bleeding,

Just know I’m gone help you whenever you need it.

Don’t ever want to see you weeping from the mistreatment.

Because I love you,

You got to promise to put up a fight.

I don’t want this love of ours to die,

So I- asked God to keep you by my side.

I’m willing to work on our issue of trust,

I know that means deceasing my problems of lust.

Our generation lost the perception of an us.

So we, embrace the characteristics of being braggadocios.

We claim love as an I, and mix it in with Instagram likes.

Because we love, we got to step away from pride.

We need to understand that love takes time.
