I've walked along boardwalks in silence wondering if you're happy,

I've made breakfast with you and danced in the kitchen just because we could,

I've written about you even if it's a little sappy,

I've spent hours in the library pretending to do homework I've already done just to hang out with you,

I've wondered if you'll be happy when you wake up,

I've ignored you when you wanted to be left alone and skyped you until 3am when you didn't,

I've never cried, but I've been close when you said you weren't okay

And probably never will,
