I was 16.

I was 16 when I first diagnosed myself.

My girlfriend knew my thoughts and fears.

I had OCD. It overwhelmed me.

It was new to both of us. But more me because they were my intrusive thoughts.

I'd end up telling her thoughts because it felt wrong not to.

The thoughts made me cry, then I'd tell her and she'd feel unworthy.

She said I manipulated her. I didn't mean to.

It was a cycle.

It started to get worse. Where we couldn't go a week without one of us having a breakdown.

I would tell her things that would destroy her, making her feel less of a woman.

I didn't know what thoughts were me or not.

We went from healthy and happy to breakdowns and toxic.

We broke up.

It was mutal.

We broke up because it started to become unhealthy.

With my thoughts and her controlling.

Now she's happy and I'm on medication.

And now seperated, we are both healthy and happy.
