#BecauseILoveYou

Because I love you, my invalidation makes me incompetent.

I am never sought after or understood.

I find faults in you so I create distance.

I can’t lose you but if only I could for an instance …

But I can’t because I love you.

The fear of being close to you and depending on you scares me.

You never seem to need me so why do I stay?

Our relationship is a stress to you but what am I to say?

I am quiet because I love you.

Where do I belong in your life?

What else must I give to you?

I give you my everything because I love you.

I can’t speak words or connect thoughts, you deem them wrong before they leave my body.

I know I’m never enough, but when you say it without words it cuts a little deeper.

I wonder what will happen after all of the promises break.

I wonder what will happen the next time we fight and all of us is put at stake.

Because i love you I stick around and bear it.

You pass off every action as protection, to ensure security and stability.

With no possible chance is always the excuse, you say this to the best of your ability.

You don't believe in titles or commitment in the worst way.

I stay because I love you, I stay because I am lost without you.

Your sympathy leaves no room for comfort.

You are always sad and never alone yet I always feel what you say.

Forgive you as I might, it's only because I love you.

I’ve been hurt the way you’ve been angry and you take refuge in this.

I’d like to think that we’ll grow old together maybe.

Our future is exactly that but I can dream right?

Because I love you, when you are blind I give you my sight.

Dreams are fictitious illusions so you question mine.

You like to intentionally hurt but you pass it off as a play of the subconscious.

When I show hope you ignore me.

Have you given up on us?

I can’t bear the thought of independence because I love you.

My optimism will be the catalyst of my death and I only pray it's not you who kills me.

When I die because of it, say I am the only thing you see.

Along the way, I have given you too much room and too much control.

Because I love you.

I can’t touch what you’ve given me as they turn like tides and roll.

I’ve prayed for days about you and the answer that remains is, I love you.

I am everything you say because I love you.
