#BecauseILoveYou

Because I love you,

I let you use me.

I thought you were doing it to better yourself,

but all you really did was abuse me.

Because I love you,

I let you convice me

that you were the only one who cared

and everyone else was against me.

Because I love you,

I let you control me.

I let you beat my soul down to rubble

...

But that was the old me.

Now,

Because I love me,

I won't let you use me.

We should've built each other up. Together.

That's how it should be.

Because I love me,

I won't let you convince me

that you are the only one who cares who care

and everyone else is against me.

I know my worth.

Then I add tax, because no one will ever treat me like a piece

when I know I'm the whole damn pack.

Because I love me,

I'm not afraid to let go of you.

You took me for granted.

Never did what you were supposed to do.

The realtionship taught me a lot.

It was a lesson, at the time hard to see.

But because I loved you,

I learned to love me.
