#BecauseILoveYou I Will Remove My Mask

I wear a mask Though feel I’m sincere. Not painted bright colors But also not clear. I’m an individual Not part of the crowd. I’m not pretentious And wear my cross proud. Born of wrong decade Not like my peers. Few really know me Or of all my fears. It’s time to take pause And halt needless lies. I like who I am And don’t need a disguise.
