#BecauseYou'reMaiLove
Oftentimes, you do not pick your soulmate.
They transcend religion, culture, identity.
You certainly did.
Those hazel green eyes filled with wonder,
That deep, deep soul of yours,
Caring for everyone beyond yourself.
It causes everyone to love you,
Including me.
Because I love you,
I try to protect you.
From boys, from danger,
Sometimes even from yourself.
Though some may find it obsessive,
You find it endearing.
My anxiety ends with a positive outlet:
A mama bear shielding her cub from the harsh realities of society.
Sadly, not even a mama cub can always protect her cub.
I almost lost you, sweetie girl.
And it crushed me.
But because I love you,
I will never stop helping you.
