The Beckoning of the Bell
We've all had a tough day.
When the fight doesn't seem worth fighting.
When we've lost sight of life's value.
Our internal sparks are not lighting.
In those darkest of hours,
When the tears flow so freely,
We must find our inner power.
And begin internal healing.
The darkness abides
And emotions will swell
When upon the horizon
Tones the chime of the Bell.
Lost souls like my own
Can always take solace
In a Nacho Bell Grande
With extra spicy sauce.
Cinnamon Twists, Baja Blasts
Soft tacos, gorditas
Burritoes and now breakfast!
Something for every senor and senorita.
The sight of the store
And the smell of the food
Have always been remedy
To the foulest of moods.
If my boyfriend's a pain,
Or my teachers demanding,
Taco Bell sets in right.
With food that's always outstanding.
An addiction? Perhaps.
As my friends and family reckon.
But no one is immune
When the Taco Bell beckons.
