Becoming Fearless

We’re scared to love, we’re scared to fly, we’re scared to fall, we’re scared to die

We don’t know the future

My stomach starts to stir

My mind races frantically

Help I can’t stop panicking

I take a deep breath and tell myself it’ll be okay

After all, it’s just another day

I learn to love, I learn to fly

I’m not scared to fall, I’m not scared to die

I trust that fate will occur

And my problems fade to a blur

I’m no longer worried about tomorrow

I’m going to enjoy today like my time is borrowed
