Becoming Me

I am an artist, Painting smiles on other people's faces. I am a comedian, Cheering up those having a bad day. I am a ball of pent up energy, Making memories with those who may not have the best ones. I have the brightest smile, Because I have seen the darkest darks. I have the kindest eyes, Because I have gotten through the saddest times. I have the warmest heart, For I have had to live with a man, Whose heart has more ice than Antarctica. I don't want others to suffer as I did, So I do everything in my power to help those in need. This is who I have become, This is who I am, And this is who I will always be.
