Becoming A Mother

Anxious Bewildered C-section Doctors Even more nurses Fifteen minutes Gathering relatives Happily awaiting I'm numb Jelly like Kicked because of Loads of Medicine shooting through my Nimble body Opened tummy Pulling an tugging Quietly waiting for Red haired baby I was promised Sound of a newborn crying Tears pouring off my cheeks Uncanny sense of wonder Visual appearance Wet, bloody daughter wrapped X-citement Yearn to hold Zealous.
