Becoming Poetry

Paper...

Pencil...

Graphite is etched on the hard surface

forming letters that shape into words

Powerful yet simple, heard but no voice,

Felt but not tangible,

It can never be silenced, for in words' bosom

holds emotion, wisdom, ideas, strength

power and imagination

Words are gathered in one place, becoming a meaning

A song
