Becoming unveiled

I hunger for some quietude,

my assumptions be released,

accepting my exhilaration

of God’s Truth in the world.

God’s vision cannot exclude,

my wisdom thus increased,

my unveiling to God’s reason,

my future doth unfurl.

I hunger for God’s quietude,

my soul at last unveiled.

God’s wisdom t’is my season,

His Love in this mortal swirl.

I am a retired high school and college professor. The last 10 years of my teaching was as a college professor of literature and writing. I have self-published one book of prayers and meditations and am preparing another book of poetic odes to faith and love. I am truly honored to be welcomed into this group.
