Becuase I Love My Best Friend

I watched us grow apart,

you found new joy.

Memories, pictures, and moments

I watched them be created.

Without me.

Because I love you.

We spent everyday together,

laughing.

But you had replaced me with him.

You were my best friend

and I yours.

I let you go because you were happy.

Because I love you.
