Beg

Yank my heart out through a hole in my chest,

Barren affairs tried to fill it.

Pluck every vein like a violin string,

               It will ring with harmony.

Snap my bones like dry twigs,

With the ease of ‘I love you’.

Flatten my muscles like a meat tenderizer,

Because you know I’m a vegetarian.

Make me question my own sanity,

                Wanting you makes me crazy.

And I would be hurt because you haven’t called me pretty today.

Don’t make me beg.
