Begging for a treat

O that this too too waggy tail would stop, Cease, and recognize there is no treat! Or that weight would not be gained! The hyperness! Make it stop! Stop! How crazy, excited, and eager Seem to me all the emotions she shows! Calm down! Calm down! ‘tis a misunderstanding. That tail never stops; moving right and left, Possessing her merely. That she should understand this! But still that tail! - nay, not stopping, no: So excited a dog, that is too gullible! All those kisses, so loving to my heart, That she might not have to wait any longer to Visit my face with saliva. Warm and wet! Must I remember? Why, she would kiss me As if increasing her chance for a treat! But what about the weight? And yet, with a kiss, - Let me not hold anymore, - Frailty, thy name is Michelle. The treat is given a little weight, or happiness was granted, With which she kissed my face for more.
