Begin Again

Take my soul

Take my heart,

My body,

And my mind

I can't use them anymore

These hands

Covered with the sins of my past

Cut me open

Bleeding darkness

Nothing's real

Nothing makes sense

Emptiness chills my bones

My heart is shattered

Leave my fragments to rot

Steal my innocence

Pierce me,

Until there's nothing left

Just ash and sorrow

A lonely single beat

Sheading my thorns

Carving lies

Withering petals

Drinking red from my roots

Blinding white fades to black

As the last petal falls
