The Beginning

My eyelids get heavier as these seconds pass.

Time loops itself and I'm left running in circles again.

Why can't anyone understand?

I just want to turn my cheek, looking in the other direction is sometimes the cure for my own insanity.

The road behind me is covered in dirt, yet, the road ahead of me is paved in gold.

I can shine if I want to, I choose to stay in the background.

I want my voice to be heard, but only by those I love.

My fate will never be determined, destiny does not exist.

I am who I am!

Life is no test, for fill your quest, be the best!

Wow this is simple but really good. I love how you turn from insanity to looking at the good things you will have in your life. So much positivity near the end of it. Please read my poems and tell me what you think.
