The Beginning
Like a black cloak, it swarmed around me.
Like black spiders spinning a cocoon of web around me.
Fighting it when I can't see.
Fighting it while I become numb.
Now its nothing but absent.
Now as I close my eyes and say goodbye.
My mother's hand, surrounded by light reaches for me.
Sucked into an unknown light, into an unknown place, into the beginning of the end.
