The Beginning
My heart beats fast when you are near,
Your smile, your laugh, it's all so dear.
I long to speak, but words escape,
My emotions twist and contort like a cape.
I am drawn to your every move,
The way you walk, the way you groove.
Your eyes, they sparkle like the stars,
Your presence, it lifts me up so far.
I hope someday you'll see me too,
And maybe we can start something new.
Until then, I'll dream of you each night,
And keep this crush burning oh so bright.
You're the boy who's captured my heart,
And I'll cherish you from the very start.
My love for you will never cease,
And in my heart, you'll find your peace.
