The Beginning of Forever

A gentle brush of your fingers

Sending shivers down my spine

The love I see in your eyes

Is a love that equals mine

You greet me with a smile

And leave me with many kisses

Perhaps in a little while

I’ll be lucky enough to be your Mrs

Walking hand in hand

We admire the sunset

And you are my man

The greatest love I’ve ever met

You fill me with butterflies

With every word you whisper

We kiss and our hearts rise

Because we know we belong together

We hold each other tight

We don’t want the day to be over

The stars are now shining bright

And we realize tonight is the beginning of forever

May Angel

I am a single lady in her 50s. I am just an ordinary person. Love to sing. And love to write poems when my feelings are too big to be contained. I have been writing poery since the age of 12.
