Beginnings

Remember

When we first met

Darkness like a cloud

Suffocating me with a chain.

A prisoner

With an unknown sentence.

You stepped in then,

12:19 // smile.

You said "Hello"

My face froze.

A color of embarassment

And shock

Stained on my cheeks.

By the end of the hour,

1:43

I knew I would not

Sit alone ever again.
