The Behaviors of Love

We give up our time

We compromise our personal joy

To ensure the others

We stand equal

Shoulder to shoulder

Leaning on each other

We talk and laugh

With no faked happiness

And responses born of truely-held feelings

We can look eye-to-eye

And when the other asks why they do this

We can respond without hesistation

Because I love you.

Most of my stuff is inspired by some of the very somber anti-war poems written after WW1. Others can be on a whim or based off fictional works.
