Behind the Black Veil.

Everyone is covered.

From their head to their toes.

With a very thin veil.

With colors that come and go.

I am differnet though.

For my veil is black.

I stand out from the rest.

For the  color that it lacks.

As everyone heads south.

I head to the north.

I take in everything I see.

For all that it's worth.

My thoughts are of words and endless pictures.

They scramble on with nothing to hold them back.

Their thoughts are of people, senseless to them.

Or futures that might not exist.

I see beauty in microscopic details.

Using the eyes of my soul.

They see beauty through the eyes of their flesh.

They don't envision things as a whole.

So this black veil might show nothing but darkness to them.

But how will light exist without shadows?

And how does color exist without light?

We all make one, tied up within this bow.
