Behind Closed Eyes
Behind Closed Eyes
Through the looking glass is all you see.
It basically describes all that you'll be.
But once we suddenly close our eyes,
what touches us the most is not sight, but words that are wise
A person who is blind does not care
about your smell, clothes, or even your hair.
The biggest trait that defines you as a person
is you make a person feel better or worsen
So do not dwell on the brand of your clothes,
but rather on the way a person feels when you part ways and close.
Society has come to a point where personality is not admired,
however do not forget to always be inspired.
No one will remember in the future how pretty you were,
or even if you did not always prefer
to be the one that always put out a helping hand,
but quite frankly who wouldn't want to be that grand.
See in reality I am not the prettiest, or skinniest,
but I can guarantee you my heart is one of the purest.
At 5'2 I can assure you there are finer,
but who can rate a person who only cares if they are kinder.
I may not drive the fanciest car, or even a car at all,
but trust me when i say my heart is not at all small.
What can you say truly defines you?
Well in my case it's my hue.
If you don't already know,
my hue is the color that will always glow.
And in that confusing rhyme itself,
it basically means how I describe myself.
Red is beautiful, and yellow is true,
but the one that I can say defines me is blue.
Blue shows selflessness, and purity,
so what better color or way is there to describe maturity.
