Behind the Cloud

I've been beaten down and so abused These were the reasons that I used. I was called by every name but my own Nobody understood me I was so alone. Full of hurt resentment and fear I hoped that the end was drawing near. Haunted by every action of my past I prayed the next hit would be my last. I hit my knees and shouted out loud And a light beamed down from behind a cloud A man appeared and put out his hand I knew you would call me as I had planned Give me your burdens I'll carry them all I will even catch you when you fall. Your past is forgiven and Future is with me I'll always be with you search your heart and see.
