Behind the curtain and deep inside

There’s a girl who can no longer hide

She has been hidden too very long

And is no longer able to be strong

Her hopes are high, and savings low

All she wants to do is grow!

She doesn’t know if she will make it

But there’s no way that she can fake it

That little girl is bursting through

The walls of doubt that she once knew

Her eyes are set on far off places

And there she looks at all the faces

All the pain and suffering

And she cannot do anything

Trapped inside the fear of mind

The fear that makes her truly blind

The curtain that’s trapped her long before

Will not trap her one day more
