Behind The Fuse Box
The wiring harness
connecting life
crossed
but grounded sure
Eluding sight
and force of will
its power
most secure
And only seen
when time shorts out
in flashes
not to last
Of red and black
and green contacts
that charge
— the future past

Your Poem's Voice
Blends personal (wiring, room) with abstract philosophical inquiry about hidden power.
Dense with layered concepts: connection, evasion, time, energy, futurity compressed tightly.
Neutral-to-slight mystery; grounded security balanced against elusiveness and temporal anxiety.
Kinetic electrical language (wiring, charge, shorts out) creates intellectual and sonic intensity.
Approximately 6-7 lines; micro-to-short length poem.
Heavy metaphor (wiring as life connection), vivid sensory imagery (red/black/green), abstraction.
Primarily lyric meditation with subtle dramatic tension; observational voice, minimal narrative.
