Behind it all: Tired. That's just it.

Social Media plays with us

A false sense of connection

Lives revolve too much on this false sense of trust

Photoshop yourself for an audience behind screens

Without the revision, are you proud?

Monochrome filter easily covers up blemishes

Makeup adds fuller eyes, redder lips, and thicker eyebrows

Without it I’ll have pimples, a shaved eyebrow, and tired eyes

Without the revision, I’ll be who I’ve wanted to hide

A tired full time student, studying late nights

A girl that tries to fill her schedule, fulfill her pride

A person barely gathering enough strength to enjoy the day

Without the revision, I’ll be myself, not so confident

Deep down, I’m a person trying to get through the day

But acting like I’m living life Right one hundred percent

Social media is like a stage and its victim is me
