Behind the Lab Coat

Never seen, never known

Hidden behind a pair of googles

And the buttons of a lab coat.

With the snap of a glove

I am ready to make something

That I am truly proud of.

Spending days shaking and mixing

Dozons of dangerous chemicals

Just trying to find something worth fixing.

Staring at invisible creatures all day

Naked to the human eye

Looking like I'm staring at a blank tray.

The one behind the big name

The science behind the drug

But never getting the fame.

In the end I woukd never walk away

Because im the reason

The doctors say

"Sir, you will be okay".
