Behind the Lines of Drama
When high school year starts,
So does drama.
The fights between best friends,
The accusations between kins.
Rumors distort the truth,
You wait in a long line,
The lies will come to life.
Lies can ruin your school year,
Don't let it.
Don't live in fear,
Embrace the truth as it is.
Brush off the haters,
You won't be in the same school forever.
It's my senior year.
There's still drama here.
My friends are fighting,
As I am silently watching.
I won't get involved,
Lies can be tall,
They stretch out the truth
To make it something new.
You can never trust the lies you hear.
Live life on your toes,
Question everything you're told.
School can be tricky,
But, you can live through the drama.
And it'll be alright.
