Behind the Mask

Sun, 03/01/2015 - 16:29 -- Solja

So the man in the mask

What's he really like?

Can you venture a guess?

He's not uptight

He's pretty chill

And there's still plenty left

He's funny and kind

And has problems with heights

And isn't afraid to speak his mind

That's not always what you see

The filters blur his true self

You will never see any sign

Of what he's like inside

He always hides it

There's just no way to show it

He's respectful and neat

And likes to sing in the shower

Which is something he should probably quit

He's responsible and organized

His duties he doesn't neglect

But he can also be lazy

He likes to kick back and have fun

Just enjoying life

Is that even remotely crazy?

When all is said and done

He's beautiful inside

But he doesn't recognize it all the time

He should let that side out more

Because he's perfect the way he is

But that will always be an upward climb
