Behind the Mic!

Some people out there in this world hide many things.

Mine can not be seen compared to what being me brings.

Others hide behind their masks of shame.

I hide behind the mic while my music plays.

We are all judged based on what others see.

But when I am in the radio booth I am just being me.

So proud to have this hidden look.

That people what to find.

I am but an open book that has no lines.

People see me for a quiet nerdy girl.

I have yet to prove them wrong is this world.

Because when I am behind the mic there is no stopping me.

Cause behind the mic is where I want to be.
