Behind the scenes

Step away from the curtain

Roll up the red carpet

No autographs please

I’m keeping my distance

From the fame

No shame

I laugh like all others

I’m a teen with a dream

No embarrassment there

I try to eat clean

Cause I love what I wear

Behind all the books and away from the court

Faith is my first and reflects what I’m worth

I don’t need my appearance to say who I am

My dance is rough but it won’t leave a scar

I can sing like a bird to the songs in the car

My walls go down

Not on the call

Away from the world

And all of its flaws
