Behind the Scenes

Head tilted to the right,

Chin slightly tilted up,

Dark lipstick swiped on my lips,

Causing a serious expression to take over my face,

Hair swept to the side,

A little bit of clevage,

A little suduction,

Best selfie I've ever posted,

Hundreds of likes,

But that's not me.

Behind the scenes,

My head's tilted back in laughter,

Chin held up high with confidence,

Chapstick on to keep my lips soft,

With a smile playing on them,

Hair swept back in a loose bun,

Eyebrows bare instread of drawn,

No clevage showing,

No suduction, just laughter,

That is me.

The girl who tries to impress herself,

Herself but no one else,

She has confidence in her smile,

Confidence in her laugh.

There is no other girl I'd want to show my friends,

No other girl I'd want to show strangers,

Confidence in my smile,

Love in my heart,

That's the best me,

Behind the scenes.
