Behind the Screen

*click* Back to reality Back to silence Back to my cold empty bed Back to running conversations in my head Back to not looking in the eye Back to searching the sky for something you might see too Back to feeling blue Back to my stage Ready to start the play The main character is all alone The other cast is in my phone *ding* A new role to play Who shall be friend or foe today Take my time, eat it alive For I need your words to survive Pick my brain I want you to see There's so much more to me Than my face Than my name Change them both, My heart's still the same
